Nicole Phillips, DVM

Dr. Nicole Phillips was born in New Jersey, and she split her childhood between northeastern Pennsylvania and Englewood, TN. Her dream has been to become a veterinarian since she was in kindergarten. She has always had a calling to help those who cannot speak for themselves.

Dr. Nicole received her BS in Animal Science, along with a minor in business, from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville before she graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. She practices large and small animal medicine, as she enjoys working with all species. Her veterinary interests include oncology, preventative medicine, reproduction, chronic pain management, equine dentistry, internal medicine, and dermatology.

In her spare time, Dr. Nicole likes to travel with her husband, Brent; as well as read books and comics, play videogames and boardgames, go to the movies (especially horror movies!), garden, cook, and craft. She and her husband have one dog (Gatsby) and two cats (Kitty and Mittens).

She is very grateful to get to stay in the Knoxville community to help the animals and people alike, as she understands how important the human-animal bond is.
